A little shooting today

Slinging the little 13 grain Zans 100 yards in the not low wind, well you have to work for what you get, but it is a whole lot better than 13 gr pellets CUZ i tried that a bit later.

First segment in my video on the orange top, my friend shooting his M30.
Bottom 2 rows me shooting my Two.
After resetting ( targets came off fridge ) on the way back i show our new needle target, that little hole at 75 M aint easy, at least not with the merciless wind we had lately.
'Also new targets Zip ties on a pole, you can shoot off the end 2-3-4 times before you go for the tie around the pole to clean it, at 75 M also not easy.

Second segment is the targets all shot up, my friend filled in the top line of 2" targets with this DRS

The bottom rows are all me with the Two.

FAIR WARNING : Wind noise.

We are contemplating maybe build a tower to shoot from, we assume if you get 16 - 20 feet up you can shoot diagonal across the contoured property and so get a fair bit further than the current 130 M MAX distance.
Then again we are locked to .177 here, so i feel we are already pushing the limit, at least with current barrel technology.

But first of all we need to get the current shot shed winter proofed, CUZ even with modern day Danish " winters " it do get a bit nippy in there, even with a oven and a diesel heater going.
I think insulation will do wonders.

The Zip ties are crusty 20 year old cheap ones, so they break right where you hit them, i am not sure fresh ones will behave the same.

When i left my friends house his weather station read 4.7 M/s, that is just about 9 MPH wind, also that was the average wind speed the gusts i have no idea.

Actually we might well fit a wind turbine to the shot shed this season, my friend have one lying around collecting dust.
Even if the shot shed are also wired with mains 220 V power

You cannot mess around the danish weather- Wind is gusty and often changes direction - Saturday I was shooting with Soren with my new Impact M4 - I can say it shoots great - but I did not break any personal records. I look forward to see your Epic shoot "live" some day. I always like the Epic but - daam its expensive for a mechanical rifle.

But great shooting !

No it is often relentless, i wish i could hide in a forrest like VA / peter do, but it is open field at our place.
Yeah the Epic rifles by no means cheap, but it can also get even more expensive, not hating but i feel like trying other things than the FX everyone else shoot.

Our place have room for 4 though one will have to be a lefty or improvise, also room around to put up your own stuff outside of the shed.
The leftmost bench are gimped though, CUZ most of the targets are to the right of it

Also we only have 3 chairs ATM, cuz we are suckers for comfort, so we are not talking a hard stool here.
Range pointing due North at our place.
