Daystate Gun Case

What is everyone using for a gun case for a Daystate Wolverine? Thanks
I have both a hard case and a soft case, just make sure you have at least 3" of space at the muzzle and butt area so when you cut your foam your Gun can't bump into the case in the event someone drops it.

what's the overall length, including the moderator?
Depending on how long of a moderator you have attached to the rifle..let's say 47"
you will want an interior of 49" or more.

You DO NOT want the foam that plucks apart..this stuff will keep shreading and fall apart..terrible stuff
Polyethylene closed cell foam works much better for impact protection and durability

Harbor frieght has the "Apache" line ...Big,HEAVY, best to wait on a coupon for this one to get the price near $100.
Pelican has nice quality which shows in the latches, but is reflected in the price ..The "Vault" series is the least expensive. Can sometimes get this one on sale for under $170
The Eyler and the Meija cases are basically the same as the Apache
Vevor are a less expensive brand, but has cheap latches...wouldn't recommend if you travel with rifles
Hope this helps a little

I really like my Pelican case with the Magpul DAKA Grid foam. This one is the Pelican iM3100. The Magpul foam is great because I don't have to commit to cutting a solid foam for a particular loadout. I have 2 rifles with different configurations and it's nice to be able to arrange the foam to accommodate either one depending on which one I want to carry.

It is a bit heavy but I love the peace of mind it gives that I can just throw it in the back of the car along with the other luggage without worrying about the gun.
