AOA called, they will be shipping mine sometime next week. It will be my first Daystate and it better be a shooter, problem free, and of high quality.

That is always what happens on every new rifle of mine, ring issues and more waiting.Good news, mine arrived today.
Bad news, my scope rings are about 2mm too low for the magazine.
So now I wait another week or two for shipping. This is torture, considering I pre-ordered it about a month ago. I just want to go shooting!!
No singleshot tray?..That is always what happens on every new rifle of mine, ring issues and more waiting.
Nope. I heard one is in the works but it didn't come with the rifle. It'd be nice if they sent it after the fact but I'm not expecting it. This is a cheap gun with slim profit margins, after all. (sadlol)No singleshot tray?..

I had Vortex medium height rings on a 34mm tube previously. I need the High version now. The difference is just .25 inch but it's enough.how low is too low? As I understand it the BW has a 20 MOA picatinny on top of the receiver block?
I got the grey laminate bottle in .22 with 23" barrel. Will definitely post something once I receive.Archdesigner03
What caliber is your soon to be new BW?
Please tell us how well it shoots??
lol- I would do you one better throw a red dot on it just so I could shoot. You're patient! I'd been down to any of the four sporting goods stores in my 100,000 population city as soon as I saw my rings wouldn't work. I just did that 2 weeks ago because my PIC ring wouldn't fit the weaver rail on the gun.
The time before that a new scope's saddle was too large for my AR's cantilever mount so I had to get a new mount from Sportsmans, yeah I brought the scope with me just to be sure.
I have a collection of rings and it amazes me I still don't have the correct rings half the time, LOL???
Regarding the Blackwolf and Ring height issue = it would seem that the Bell housing size on the scope is also a big factor. AOA advises using a high / adjustable set of rings if you have a scope like the Sightron S3 with the 60 mm bell housing. You're patient! If possible, please do a comparison with and without the VoluMax to give people an idea of what they can reasonably expect by purchasing one.28” slug barrel and waiting for the VoluMax extended plenum![]()
A fella on another forum got a 23” barrel 22 and his settings were exactly the same as my ghost so i would guess you would get the fpe listed with the volumax and the same fpe as the ghost withoutIf possible, please do a comparison with and without the VoluMax to give people an idea of what they can reasonably expect by purchasing one.
