I have 3 4x8 benches in my shop. All 2' deep in "projects".
My airgun "bench" is a 5' folding table from Wal Mart.

This former fly fisher, and fly tyer APPROVE.In spite of the snow and freezing rain, the fly tying bench is in use today, just taking a break for lunch. I'm hoping that tying a bunch of flies will help getting the ice off the lakes sooner.
Virgin work space .... Huh ?I present to you, The Minimalist!

I know we all work differently, but some of these benches give me daymares!
And here I was thinking I was the only person left using a shoebox compressor. Should have known better they last and last and last. After the first year of abuse , I bought a pile of spare parts , mainly because the shipping was so expensive for just a simple seal kit.Okay, I'll play. Here's my mess....Bench 2 is just my fill station, the other two (Bench 1 and3) are my work areas. PB Press included in Bench 1.
And YES, I USE all of them, just keep em a tad clean so I can find stuff.

Table top KNEE mill ... I like it !!!I saw the lathe first and knew you're in UK. Then I saw your name.
My shop gets like that but 2 lathes, 3 milling machines, and 2 drill presses. The workbench and a half is on the other side of the shop with my metal shaper and tool boxes but I don’t have a picture of that. My lathes and the Enco mill are on workbenches.
