Has Anybody Tested Out The New Crosman Pellets Yet?

Crosman Premier Hollow Points in .177 are now being made in Spain. Instead of 7.9 gr they now weigh 7.6 gr. I've heard that this new version is identical to the Gamo pellets. I have not heard of any changes to the .22 pellets yet.

I was wondering if anybody has tried the new pellets yet and what was your results?

This guy does an extremely thorough review of four varieties of Gamo pellets. It looks like they make two versions of these 7.6 gr hollowpoint domes, but neither one fared very well.

That sounds like the case. Same pellet style, same weight, same company. I never was a huge fan of Crosman pellets, but by most accounts the cphp’s are better than the Gamo 10x’s, so it’s sad to see them go if that is the case.

I will never buy a Crosman pellet made in Spain. I knew this type of garbage was going to happen when Gamo bought Crosman.

They did, but Daisy is itself owned by Gamo.

I have read that Crosman pellets have Antimony in them to make them a little harder. This, at the time, to feed easier in the Crosman 600 pistol.
Wonder if the "new version" are the same, or softer lead?
