Crosman Crossman HFT Challenger by Airgun Revisions

I was just shooting the ten meter version today and yesterday. I am amazed how well this rifle shoots. This is a five shot group off of a tripod at 14 yards with H&N FTT 4.52

Any further updates on how it shoots and how you like it? I’m hoping to find one at the upcoming airgun shows this year.
You would be hard pressed to find something that shoots as well as an Crosman HFT Challenger, specifically at the all in price point which includes a tune by @Airgun-Revisions .

I used to think that the gun was limiting my overall KZ score in Hunter Field Target... so i would constantly switch between my Redwolf, and my Air Arms S500XS or my Brocock Ghost in carbine. Truth was my scores had nothing to do with the gun itself, and everything to do with learning how to settle in before I took took my shots AND my needing to learn how to read the wind (experience matters). I would shoot just as well at this point, using my Redwolf or my Challenger, BUT, the Redwolf has a very calm, quiet shot cycle and an super nice trigger and yes, it is way more air efficient ( $2 K more?) probably not. A nice Weihrauch moderator i the absolute best on this .177 tuned at aprox 18.8 FPE.

I would highly recommend this airgun to any fairly new HFT shooter before letting them going down the path of numerous higher priced airguns.
A very pointed observation is i underscoped this gun aka underestimated it - if i moved my Sightron S3 over to the Challenger i would bet my KZ Hit percentages would be almost the same..

edit = please note the HFT Challenger is designed around the Benjamin 10.5 pellet. So i do get a slight advantage in the wind when shooting field target with my other guns that are set up to shoot 13.4 weight pellets.

My Particular Challenger was specifically machined and tuned by Rich Dudeck, owner of Airgun Revisions. At my request he modified the breach block to incorporate a CARM single shot loader = SSL. I drop a lot of pellets without an SSL.
I know the price at an airgun show is attractive, but you cant beat the customer service Mr. Dudeck provides.
