Please help me change my mind tell me I'm out of my mind ..I have had mixed luck with aea products megalodon been solid my two t9 one good one finicky...now im looking at the s45 .457 13 inch barrel with cnc stock.
To avoid issues, search for an experienced air gun tuner to take it apart and have them polish, machine, and upgrade known internals of that model. To me AEA makes cutting edge guns but they cut corners on the machining, etc. much like lower priced mass quantity companies; even high end brands benefit from an air gun tuner to work on it but they are doing more minor work than what probably needs to be done on AEA.....I'm going to buy it then come here and cry why my mag is getting jammed why is leaking air knowing all this I'm still considering buying like 85% sure
I love it. Mine is 357 variant but shares almost every part. It doesn't leak at all ( i have other aea that do leak down to like 4200psi). My magazine is different on the inside, so I can't speak on that. The outside of the magazine is the same and its awesome, locks into place solid. I have had one magazine apart to make sure the wheel could move freely. It ended up being the cover was a little to tight. It did cause a jam, but not until the last position, there wasn't enough spring tension on the round because the wheel was dragging on the clear cover. I cleaned the threads and loctite the cover screw so it doesn't move. I believe that fixed it and so far it hasn't happened again. I shot around 120 rounds before the jam. Since the fix I would say another 32 rounds. It shoots great with a moderator, no issues cycling. It's powerful, fun to shoot. Im happy.I'm going to buy it then come here and cry why my mag is getting jammed why is leaking air knowing all this I'm still considering buying like 85% sure
