Sw 45,.357 ,new out of box , firing 3 shot burst, low power, any clues? Can't work it out .

I tried with AEA but could never get mine to stay operational. My .357 max had significant hammer bounce when full - shots that would consume 3x the normal air for a single shot, and extra loud. If that is a semi auto maybe the hammer is bouncing and firing again? Not sure how that would work in a semi auto exactly because presumably there's something to catch there hammer. I suggest taking the "return it and don't mess with it" approach, but whatever you do just make sure you don't let the one month return window (or whatever the vendor offers) lapse if it's still causing you a headache otherwise you'll end up paying for their problem and they will keep making these sketchy guns

Don’t shoot below 3000psi, the bolt won’t get pushed back enough to grab the sear. Also be sure to keep it well lubed, on mine I’ve noticed if the bolt feels slower it needs cleaned and re lubed.

I have the same gun. Did you get it sorted yet? You can't operate the gun below 2000psi or it will multi fire / burst fire, because the valve gets stuck open i believe. Did you fill it up all the way? You definitely don't want to dry fire it, or fire it without the magazine in place or you may blow out the breach seal o ring out. 4500psi- 2500psi is the operating range.

Tried it at various fills 3000,3500,4000 and 4500, never dry fire any of my air rifles, tried to keep firing ,some aea a bit rough ,have 11 now only this and sf sniper. 30. Said they will take back and send a new one ,hope it doesn't happen again ,thanks for you're reply ,greatfull.

That's good. Sounds like there's obviously something going on. Make sure to grab some slugs from texoma precision 125 grain .356 The slugs that were included with my rifle were around 128- 129 grain. I had some trouble trying to sight in with them @ 45 yards? They weren't grouping in one area for me.
