That looks nice and snug. Everything in its place prim and proper. Plus if you like it and it makes your friends wish you would have had a bed made for their loved one as well then good for you.
It's not going to be cheap. They are not really about value, or looking to sell a lot of so-so junk. They literally make the best stuff going and are not looking to damage their status or reputation by cut throat pricing or manufacturing techniques. If you travel and have big money invested already in your gun, this case will make sense to you, if you don't, than it won't. I don't work for them, I don't know how they are going to work their pricing for individuals but it seems to me that this foam and the CAD/CAM work will easily more than double the price of a premium Pelican/SKB case. It is definitely for people with a want or a need, and a no compromise solution.
but can not go up in case size ( length at least ) and still be able to fit the case in my trunk. That is an awesome price! I wonder if you're able to get it so cheap because it's made next door to you? Regardless, I am jealous of how tight that Epic fits into that case. I love folding stocks, for that reason alone. Nice job, and nice gear!Where i got the same form for my DIY case project for my Epic Two, they also had the option for the multi color layer cake foam, but i went with all black.
They also offered custom cutting, but that just add even more to the cost
I paid about 100 USD for the 2 PCS of foam for my case 1000 X 400 mm in size one 50 mm and one 30 mm thick.
