So, here’s what I did:
1. 3-slot aluminum pic rail:
a. filed the bottom M-lok nubs flat.
2. Flush mounting plate on stock (the flat one that comes in the rifle box):
a. filed flat so the pic rail fits flush.
b. drilled 2 small pilot holes.
c. screwed pic rail directly into flush mounting plate.
d. filed the tips of the screws flush on the inside of flush mounting plate.
e. attached flush mounting plate w/ pic rail back onto the stock.
(The flush mounting plate is dense so the screws are very tight and solid)

The top pic looks like it’s Holy or blessed !!
I'm sorry your gun disappointed you. It does seem like you failed to win the "airgun barrel lottery". Did you ever try some H&N Baracuda Match pellets? If so, I apologize for asking. But if not, I would. My P35-177 is not as accurate as my P35-22 but neither care for any JSB pellet or slug I've tried in them. As I've commented before, I was so disappointed in my P35-25s barrel (for target shooting, it was always fine for pesting) I bought a replacement. But then a retune involving a bigger plenum and a switch in pellets (to JSB 34s) made it significantly better and at least as good as the replacement barrel (which likes H&N Baracudas better).I'm glad yours was but mine wasn't. I had to sand a groove in the top to keep it from touching the shroud. I forgot that part. I have lots of drum sanders so it was not a big deal. You could do the same thing with a file.
I’d be curious as to these stories. Not a challenge .. I want to hear what they are ?Heard about the issues Stoeger seems to have with their whole XM1 series as a whole, was hoping this would've been solved by the time I was actually looking to purchase a PCP, especially for the higher end versions like the bullshark.
