I have been lurking here for a couple of months, but felt it was time to introduce myself. I'm fairly new to airguns aside from an old springer when I was a boy.
I have wanted to get back to airguns for a long time and I finally felt it was time to dip my toes back in when we moved to the countryside and now have plenty of room to shoot. I bought a cheap Stoeger XM1 Sport kit and a hand pump this winter and have had a lot of fun with it, but I kept feeling that only the first 10 shots were accurate so I bought a chrono and that confirmed my suspicions that after the first 10 shots it quickly falls off. But what I gained from this experience is that I definitely want to get more into it and want to invest more.
I now have a DRS Tactical on order which I'm looking forward to, but I have a feeling that will only be the first (technically second I guess). I have also upgraded from my handpump to a CS4, which definitely helps when you only get 10 shots per fill.
Anyway, I just wanted to say hi and thank you for a great forum where I have learned SO MUCH over the last months.
