Dedal stalker cleaning

I am curious as to why it required internal cleaning?

I had it ceracoated and eventually I noticed that at the ocular focus adjustment some of the blast grit had come in there.

I then decided to take it apart completely to clean in an ultrasound bath. Also fun to understand how these are build, but on the other hand not the smartest move...It's difficult to get the glass nice and clean with alchohol and to prevent foggingI'll need to have it filled with inert gas.

Should see the one just listed on eBay for $50. Can’t be legit but if it is, it’s a gift.
