N/A Zombie setup

OK folks I'm waiting to go to the hospital to get my steroid spinal injection in my lower back ,so just a dumb fun question. Zombie apocalypse hits but not wwz zombies ,slow one like basic walking dead in a fortified house no firearms left .electricity is working pick the airguns u think will help u .got plenty of airtanks ammo as well .it's in ur favor have fun !

1.5" slugger. Also with 2 and 3.5" barrels. Makes golf balls dissappear over the lake in a flash. Water balloons are out of sight on less than 15 lbs of air pressure but you have to use a foam sabot.

Mike, that is seriously cool, How much pressure in the orange tank? Looks like a piloted valve, I assume the black rubber device is a handle? Rather the ultimate spud gun.

125 psi max, 2.5 gallon. It originally was an automotive tire bead seater. Vevor had them for 45 bucks so I couldn't resist. Sure beats a sprinkler valve and PVC pipe.

Neat, the valve for a bead seater is ideal. Same need for a big quick slug of air. I admire your creativity, good on ya! Seriously big bore... Kinda funny used to be every thrift store was swimming in old bowling balls, hardly see them anymore. I think bowling ball mortars gobbled them up. Have you considered schedule 80 for your barrel? Schedule 80 pipe would allow rifling, the wall is about double Sched. 40 pipe. Very cool! how you might rifle the inside of that tube, that is a challenge. Hmmm....

Mikey,

I wish for you that your treatment will go well and you keep shooting straight!

To answer your question:
As I am scavenging through the remains of civilization as we knew it — always in search for batteries, canned food, and clean water — I cannot lug around a big PCP.

So, I will have a Huben GK1 pistol in a holster,
scoped with a Burris Freedom RDS dot scope, with exposed turrets for dialing my longer range shots (1moa dot).

And I will shoot the Scout Sniper Slugs —
in .25cal

weighing in at 48.8gr —
with that gaping hollow point.

The latter should provide my zombie friends with some really nice wound channels. 😱
60FPE applied to rotting flesh has got to result in some glory kills.... 😵

And trusting in the authenticity of Hollywood's predictions of the zombie apocalypse, I will need Huben's semi-auto, as zombies have the tendency to attack when they outnumber their victim.

Based on the same trustworthy source of information, zombies are known to attack in hordes and murders. For that reason I will carry a 2L tank in my backpack, with an EaZy fill trigger on a hose.

꫟ Yes. I have thought this through.
You can never be too prepared.
(And it provides a neat little rationalization for my next AG purchases. 😉)

Matthias

Hmm, I have a super nice 10 gallon air compressor tank, pretty certain one of the end bells is threaded need to have a look, It's an ASME tank and zero rust. Should be rated for 125 minimum. I could build a beast, the tank has feet to put wheels on it. While a bowling ball mortar is likely off the table, a big bore is not. A softball sized projectile is appealing. Do you patch your projectiles? I've loads of small pneumatic valves, components and tubing to do control circuitry. I sometimes refer to working on guns as gun plumbing, a project like this is apropos.

No patch required, the 2nd Pic has the foam "sabot" shown. We built a softball cannon a long time ago. 2 QEV's and a 25 gallon tank was barely enough. Needed a heavy frame with 1 end in the ground. Freaking loud!

My "ZOMBIE" gun. Shoots whatever you want

Oh I am sooo intrigued. Built a few spud guns back in the day, dangerous fun. I stuck with hairspray and never picked any little pieces of PVC out of my hide. My brother blew up a couple trying different propellants. Ahh, the piece with the string is your sabot I assume the string makes them easier to find in the weeds. I tied strings to the pump up soda bottle caps I have they fly a long way when hit. Cool little target Accy screw on M10 soda bottle cap with a rubber sports ball inflation needle piece incorporated in the cap. Pump them up to 100 PSI, very satisfying bang when shot. Temu.com has the caps.

Have been watching a guy on Instagram that 3d prints rounds for his and his dog retrieves them. May need to find a link and build one myself!

Topic wise.....AirForce Condor in a large caliber, or an Evol Magnon 30 Caliber. Need accuracy and power, and the added benefit of multi-shot is a plus

Ok so I’m looking at this from more of a general apocalypse scenario. So a little more geared towards getting food and doubling as a self defense tool. Zombies don’t change my choices a lot, but are a fun spin on it!

If I can only have one it’s probably an Aea semiauto. One I’ve worked on and got running properly, of course. Not the nicest but they are a solid simple gun that puts out a lot of power! I know the semi auto is finicky but if it doesn’t work you can cycle the rifle manually. Probably a compact 25 cal with a big bottle that shoots slugs good. Few rebuild gets and you’d be good for years!

If I can have multiple. I’d have a compact Sidewinder in 30 cal, big bottle. This is my defensive gun. Probably a Taipan in 177. To many choices for that gun, I could list 5 different makes and models that I imagine would do as good of a job as the Taipan. And last would be a Huben pistol in 22, because? Well in a perfect zombie apocalypse a man has to have a good sidearm!

Also a Zero Tolernce or Spyderco in my pocket. And a good kukri in a belt sheath!

Edit: Oh yeah forgot optics. The Aea would have 1-8 power Nightforce lpvo. The Sidewinder would have a solar powered red dot, probably a Holosun. The Taipan would have the 1-8 Nightforce and the Huben would be open sights or a red dot, can’t decide.
