Air Arms Let's see those TX200-SR's!

Finally got the gun this week. Took over two weeks to get here, wont even comment USPS shipping, why it went where it went is beyond me! Had a small package to go 200 miles once, went Via Hawaii , go figure. anyway it did arrive oerfect condition. Pic in above post. Very nice ...in fact excellent condition, blueing and all, afew scratches on lower forearm. Guess it will need seals. Shooting a 14.30 hollow point pellet @ 482 FPS
Comes out to 7.38 FPE, should be around 12 FPE....HMMM Trigger very nice, really do love the free recoil !

Here's another one. It's a Mk1 .22 caliber Walnut stocked TX200SR. It has a couple of differences from the Mk2.... mainly the anti-bear trap. There isn't one. Among other things, the Mk1 TXs had a shorter stroke. Or so I've read.

This one is a rare bird!

Thank you, John, for allowing me to be its next custodian. I'm already looking into CS stock for it, Lefty, of course!

I completely admit they are a full blown obsession for me. Just picked up the most recent addition to the family.

They were designed for FT and were gun of the year when they came out. There was a rule change that forced them to compete against PCP's and production quickly ended. In the years after, many people began to complain about the extra cocking at the end of the stroke (which is minimal to be honest) and for several years you saw threads about how the standard TX200 was just as accurate. Those lucky enough to have one knew better, and held onto them. Today they have come full circle and are very hard to find again.
I am deeply grateful to the friends who have allowed me to pick up, and care for the examples I currently have.View attachment 374412All are MKII's
Top is a right hand action in a left hand Mike Abernathy Tyrolean stock. (RWS stamped)
Second is a fully left handed action in a left hand Hyedua (Shedua) NJR designed stock.
3rd is a right hand action in a lefty Hyedua (Shedua) NJR styled stock. Not sure if it is an actual NJR since it has the schnabel at the forend.
4th is the newest to me all right hand. (RWS stamped)
Bottom is a right hand Venom. To date this is the only confirmed Venom SR I have seen. Of course others may be out there.

Thanks for looking.

PLEASE add yours to the thread!
As soon as you send #3 to me i will post it here . ok ? top one is stunning !

Just a Lowly Mk-3 in nice walnut ..... Come across some SR's, but all were well fiddled with and not worth a second look.
Some SPECTACULAR SR's in this thread !!!
