What did you do airgun related today.

Not even sure where to start..

Returned all the yote hunting gear to my buddies, grabbed his impact m3 to set up a ballistic profile on his zulus using 32gr javelins, and returned the gun as it was wasting too much air with sporadic ES and SD.

Grabbed his XM1 .25 bullshark to check sight in again and see what's wrong with it. It dropped 200fps out of nowhere, it's gone from shooting 790-820 down to 598-605. Gotta sort that.

Grabbed his LCS SK19, tried to figure out why it won't cycle every shot. Sometimes it will cycle 2 shots in a row, but it won't do more than that. Tried that between 250b and 180b, and the rifle is shooting 26gr pellets at 950.

Another buddy dropped off his zelos and it's leaking air, he literally just got it from a gun show this last weekend and he wants me to fix it. On the bright side, once I get that fixed the guy who sold otherwise to him said he would pay me for fixing it, and that we would pay me if I would fix about another dozen of them.

I've also shot about a dozen iguanas today, very slow day and messed with entirely too many different guns and ammo at once.

Having never worked on an airgun before I took my Stoeger XM1 apart to fix the bolt that would nok lock. By some miracle I managed to put it back together again and it's seemingly not leaking and seems to work. Have to re-zero it tomorrow though I guess that's the real test to see of it still works.

I do need to find some more orings now though. As I used up some of the ones that came with the gun. Is there like a kit of orings you could buy with common sizes in airguns?
There is link to O rings on a post called "Lost Zelos O ring Battle"
It is a link to a master Captain O ring set go to Forums then PCP air rifles then to page 3 the link is there it's $37 , but great.

Today airgun related, I upset my wife. Her alarm was still on even though we have the day off. That woke me up. I got up, did a few chores and decided to shoot a few pellets with my 177 Bullshark. I thought she was up and just laying in bed still. She comes out angry “you know I can hear that in the bedroom?!”

It’s backyard friendly, not wife friendly. I fell into a perfect test for “how quiet is my rifle”

I guess I’ll put my DFL Sumo on it instead of the Tatsu next time. 🤣

They also offer a
$17 “field medic kit” which has every size the master kit does but instead of 10-20 of each its 3

Does the bullshark have 2-3 baffles in the shroud? i have the 35 and using a tanto seems to do the best, as far as tone and supression. I have several mods the tanto for some reason reduces the sound to a gentle low "puffffff". I sent the wife packing years ago, but, i have insane neighbors...different source, same dilemma.

I don't personally know anything about your type of gun. But as for the orings everything I've seen promoted by the elder members is @captainoring. Once again I personally have no experience with this company but I absolutely trust the members who have recommended them. Hope this is beneficial to you.

Congratulations , i personally am just working up the nerve to do this on springers .

I took the baffles out to make it as compact as possible with a Tatsu. I thought it was quiet. 🤣

My 25 cal P35 has a 3d printed insert and a Tatsu and is very quiet.

I’ll probably put the baffles back in the BullShark to make it wife quiet.

I'm confused, how do the baffles effect length? mine is the 35x perhaps mine is different

Mine are located between the muzzle and shroud endcap. 3 metal conical baffles. the end of the shroud is butted up against the "support beam"(dont know the correct nomenclature) holding the rail up, and the barrel/tube in place. couldn't get it shorter. Without a mod mine has a backyard friendly sound level, but a higher pitched note. with the addition of the tanto it barely makes noise.

I have a few pieces of Horse matt and thinking of building a pellet back stop / catch similar to the metal ones you buy that are noisy no matter what one smears/glues/put them inside trying to quiet it down .
I was shooting into a rubber mulch trap, so that wasn’t the source of noise. Haha

The grub screws. Without baffles it can go flush with the receiver
Top is Bullshark bottom is p35 with 3d printed baffle

Have had my Two sitting on living room table for a couple of days with pressurized fill line, not a single bar dropped anywhere in rifle or fill line.
So i have taken that off and is now charging the REG gauge, which also read the very same bar number i left it with 2 days ago.

I have also started to fill my car with stuff for the range, but so far just the inexpensive 4 rattle cans for the steel targets.
Ammo box already topped up, and spare batteries for chrono charged.

Getting amped up for going to get the new compressor tomorrow, i hope it can all fit in my little car, CUZ i will be bringing a full load out when i go to the dive shop to get the compressor, so also rifle case - overnight bag and the 9L CF bottle in its bag.
But at least sans transport pallet and " casing " the compressor should be able to fit in my small trunk without having to lay down the rear seat.

Not like Saturday and Sunday will be good shooting weather, not even half good, but i have withdrawal symptoms so lead have to fly one way or another.
But really the next week no good weather in regard to wind, so i will probably just have to work / dismantle my Tuxing compressor looking for a reason to its sudden pressure drop.

Also amped about the new regulator in the Two, though with weather in mind i will probably have to make do with hearing the chrono repeat the same number over and over.
The tin of 10.4 gr pellets i bring, not sure if that will be fun even if short range, but if it is bad i have slugs to sling too. ( in total 1550 shots if it get intense )

Well. I worked on my new Karma Eq 30 cal. Redesigned the trigger guard to mount my arca rail. 3d printed 4 variations before I got the fit the way I wanted. Changed the pistol grib threads from M5 to 1/4x20.

I've also been working a dual mag setup for my Zelos. Think I'm on my fifth 3d printed version for this one.

Brothers, I want to start with PCP, which one do you recommend, a SNOWPEAK M16 Gen 2 or an AIR VENTURI AVENGER / NOVA? I would like your honest opinion.
the SPA. I’ve had an avenger. Reg creep is common. You can get them to behave And they are accurate. But having had both brands. I’d say The SPA
