What Paper Target Did You Shoot Today

I shot some really disgusting groups today with both my RWS 45 and my FWB 300 S. I was tired and shaky all day it seemed. After dinner and a couple of glasses of wine I managed to scratch out my best of the day with the 300 S. Shooting standing off hand at 10 meters, my
5 best.

Steve, I admire your off hand shooting. That is something that I have never done except with powder burner pistols. One of these years I’m going to give it a try, with low expectations.

Shot the RWS 45 today. The lighter weight was easier on me than the 300S. Here’s 5 @ 10 meters standing off hand. I wish you all a joyous Easter.

Shot the Steyr LP50 Compact with Burris FastFire III today. 20 shots at 25 yards offhand with 2 hand hold. This is the B-16 Slow Fire Target used in Bullseye Pistol shooting. JSB 7.33 Match wadcutters @ 500fps.

Field Target match on Saturday. 12 fpe springer in the wind. 39/60 and I felt like I deserved every one of them.

yes of course, but i have not taken any pictures to share, but everything was as usual very nice and a good ol time was had.
Started out with the 10.4 gr JTS dead center pellets, and that was so much fun i did not stop before the tin was empty.
Almost hole in hole at 50 M - shot shooting gallery chalks at 75 M and almost managed to thread one thru the 6 mm hole in the needle target.
Even shot to 100 M and also hit some chalks there dangling on a metal rod.
Needless to say 75 and 100 M with little .177 pellets,,,,, that is not as good as you will get with a .22, still not frustrating bad, and there was some wind / gusts to blame L / R POI shift.
Also it was raining more or less all the time.
The good speed for the 10.4 JTS pellets seem to be just above 900 fps in my CZ barrel.
New regulator having 0 issues.
New compressor, also 0 issues, bosted my 9 L tank from 170 to 300 BAR in 12 minutes.

I shot 3 semi-diagonal WRABF BR50 cards at 55.39 yards or 50.64 meters (outdoors) and my 3 card aggregate score is 727/750 18X using my FX Panthera 700mm and JSB 25.39gr unsorted pellets.

1st 10 meter PCP. Received free be pure chance.
No where close to everyone's pic's I see here. And I was shooting off a tripod, 10yds is best I can get shooting wall to wall.
Totally different than my big bore and something to get used to.

Rarely shoot paper, but here's one with swaged slugs. 50y, 6-5 shot groups done an hour ago. Corbin .218 rbt 35.5 @ 987.

Actually very little paper shot today.
Also only 400 shots fired, quite unusual for me.
But towards the end of the day with my last 50 or so slugs in the tin, i set my sights on a twig at 100 M distance, as it was a fresh one only a direct hit would sever it.
And i nicked the damn .22 - .25 " twig a lot of times, but that just made it keel more and more over to where it had moved from 45 deg angle to more or less strait down.
At one point nicking it several times in a row, i was beginning to whimper a little behind the two CUZ it was like some kind of magic was protecting that damn stick.
Mind you after i made this video and got back to the shed i did sever the bottom few inches of it, and a few shots later yet another little piece fell, but my last 10 or so slugs and me aiming right where the twig branched off, well more nicks and hits on the main stem.
Still i do like this pruning game, but it is best played with dry branches so most hits also equal a piece falling off.
Also. i think the Two are in need of a severe cleaning, i think there is way more lead in the barrel that any patch can deal with, but i have also shot many many 1000 shots in the past year, so really no wonder.
