that is one of the nice's looking air pistol I have seen in many year's ...Picture perfect...I see the time and detail to make this a one off build..I am sure there is not another one like it anywhere...most everything I own as been Modified as one of a kind...or "Trick" as I call it...looking forward to your next creation ...It almost made my iphone wallpaper but that spot is reserved for my buddy...lol ... My new Reximex RPA should be ready in a few weeks for showing...waiting on parts from England...nicknamed "The Rattler"

Thankyou Mark, I decided to make this traditional CO2 pistol as I have too many wild pcp build already. I'm also waiting on some aluminum material for my RP. It came with a warped wooden grip, PA did send a complete plastic grip and butt stock for it. Some how the grip angle does not fit me well, so I'll make an aluminum grip frame and use a 1911 style grip panel. I also finished the trigger job on it last week, finally shortened the sear bar to reduce crept. I put a much lighter trigger shoe spring and cut one full coil on the sear spring, Breaks at 1# 2 oz.
BTW love that beautiful Lab pup you got. Time to call it a night shop is getting too cold, lol.

Shot Webley Hurricane , Nice shooting , a bit less jump that the Tempest ,very windy out so didn't do much . Used RWS supermag 9.3 grain pellets . Did not tame the wind as far as i could tell , did hit a dead tree @ 50 yards about 12 inch diameter . Missed the 3 inch spinner and hit the tree 2 yards farther out .
EDIT : just looked at the WX 17 MPH wind 36 MPH gusts

Hi ..here's a few thing's that help me save the day on my Reximex RPA build... the dreaded dovetail mount...that closes the door on most builds that limits you to a few choices ... after searching the world for something that would fix my issues.... I found the solution a 11mm dovetail to a picatinny low profile adapter that still allows you to use your iron sights...and can only be found at one location that I could fine...a pair for under 6 dollars ...bought 4 pair for the future...they will need a little machining to fit proper...I used a belt sander to remove about .032..to reach a .412 gap...for all my QD mounts...now anything is possible..and a clone FX style chronograph 1/2 - 20 barrel mount.. Bluetooth to your cell phone ...threads are shallow..so a spacer is needed so you don't have to cut down you modulator adapter ....product works perfect and can be used on most guns for tuning...Ali Express.com....most of the stuff is knock off clones...safe sight... fast delivers

nice job on The Gunkote ...Maybe some help out there me...I have the FX M4 Impact..Copper... I have tried to have it Anodized but the cost was crazy and no guarantee ... another factory that does Cerakote...can't match it..even bought some vinyl samples...close but no cigar..and hard to wrap...the problem I am having is that the color changes with the angle and light...any thought's out there?

ok...getting back to this Forum...I have started to set my sights on my Reximex RPA…with a Victor optics Red Dot…gave it a few tweaks to get it close…shot 2 targets @ 25 yards…7 shot group’s…I was quite impressed…bench rest of course…using the cheapest pellets out there …Premier .22 cal 14.3 dome…that’s even better…tomorrow’s shoot will be the same except @ 50 yards for windage adjustment

Are you planning to have some parts done in copper as well?

Yes, I don’t think it’s possible to duplicate anodized parts via paint.

The only way to replicate it is to have all parts done in a single batch.

you are most definitely correct....I did this 40 years ago when I worked there...the head guy said it was 300 just for the dye..plus labor...my last choice would be to call FX in Sweden and beg them to have it done at the Factory?
Was it a paintball company that you got in touch with?

They’d be the best choice as the parts are similarly shaped.
