Umarex Notos Bolt Probe Alignment

I don't remember ever jamming a pellet in the NOTOS but I have with other guns. If you cast pellets you might run into that from time to time during testing with various guns. I have a .177 brass cleaning rod that I put the plastic patch fitting on the end of and carefully run it down the muzzle and tap the pellet back into the mag or out if no mag. I have yet to distort a crown or damage any rifling. I do it like I do anything else airgun related... slow and with purpose.
Admittedly I did get a pellet jammed in my .25 Avenger once that I had to destroy a Big Air mag to get it out. Still no damage to the gun.
After that I bought or made sizers and size every pellet I cast.

Both my Notos would jam a pellet with different magazines ,,, I put some heat shrink tubes on the probe added heat to shrink it on the probe , Problem fixed so far,,, Looking at the probe its dead center to the bore hole but it has some wiggle to it ?

No, at initially engagement with the pellet, it's towards the top of the bore. As the probe comes out more it straight towards center bore, my guess is because of the taper on the probe aligning it. The tip of the probe is definitely bent upward, which was probably from forcing a pellet
