NICE!! Love beautiful old axes!..Snow and Nealley are my favorites, however..I love them all. Too bad I don’t have a lot of opportunity to uses them very often..especially my racing axes. Enjoy. John

Cant say I have an obsession with them, but do love restoring old axes. Amazes me how many (at least in my family) were hung improperly using nails, screws and whatever else was laying around.

I’ve seen similar…I’ve even seen some that were kept in a bucket of water…believe it or not, they weren’t as rusty as one might expect. I’m old now, so my axe passion has waned a bit, however my heart beats a little faster when I see a nice one, or someone else that shares the passion. John

That’s a big boy I bet it’ll throw some chips. I’m into knives mainly but occasionally buy axes too. Always look at flea markets, auctions, etc. Favorite finds were these two norlunds. Got them both the same day for next to nothing.

@RobBonnell89 I have one of those Norlund Voyageurs myself! just picked up a Norlund Cannadie (SP) last night, the Tasmanian Dandenong is intimidating as hell, forged in North America for export to Australia and New Zealand to deal with their tough woods in the early 1900s.
