The bad thing is, I'm not a collector. I wanted so.ething to plink around with the boys. Shoot frogs in the pond...now I've apparently ended up with something fairly rare it seems. Almost seems like a shame to beat it around.

You have to be kidding me!!! Boy, now I feel like an ass for beating them up on the price. The stock has a monte carlo cheek piece. I was gonna buy a sheridan scope mount but now perhaps I'll rethink doing anything to the gun.

Picked up this old (I'm assuming) silver streak at a pawn shop yesterday. Had one as a kid and thought it would be fun to shoot with my kids. Can figure out when it was made. The safety looks wrong for the early ones. I can't even find reference to a safety like this on a silver streak. Anyone...
