    HW/Weihrauch Your grandpa's HW 30

There was a version called the HW30S-X, marketed by ARH, using a special Lyman front sight and a specific Williams peep that's unobtainable nowadays. You can tell it by the grub screws filling the breech block, the rear right not having been supplied with this version...here's one that started...

    N/A Weihrauch hw97 or Air Arms TX200

If you are NOT shooting off a rest, and you are using irons/diopter sights, then the 77 long with the long sight radius, maybe with a tyrolean stock, may be best...and it is kinda cute? Those TX's sure are pretty though!

    N/A Four of Kind...

It would be nice if you could give us your estimate of how many were made of some of the rarer airguns in your collection? Many must be in single or double digits?

    FWB Scoped the FWB 300s

That is a beautiful photo, both the FWB and the setting.

    HW/Weihrauch Airmasters master sport

Oh yes, Oh yes, the FTS! That's why I was hoping CS had made the stocks, and could still make one up?

    HW/Weihrauch Airmasters master sport

...since it's a Airmaster has it already been polished out and reblued to a much higher standard than original? Have you bleached out or stained the stock (oxalic acid?) before refinishing?

    HW/Weihrauch Airmasters master sport

Very nice stock...you're not stripping the finish as much as scraping it off with the blade? That's a great way to keep the defects visible for later steaming? And also, did Airmasters use CS as their stock supplier or did they made their stocks themselves? If they used CS, maybe they could...

What springer did you shoot today?

The first and the last of their kind: 10 meter, spring piston, fixed barrel airguns. A late Anschutz 220 from 1962, and a pre T01 Diana 75 from 1978. No point in showing today's targets at 20 M, they're the same.

Beeman Yet another R8 in the herd

That is an unusually nice stock. Here's another one with a better than average beech stock.

N/A What is your "coolest" springer...?

Were they fit at the factory, or after sale by a gunsmith?

N/A What is your "coolest" springer...?

This HW35 presafety standard from 1971 may not be the coolest, but was a prize at a shooting contest in Coburg, a German town. The fellow on the badge is Saint Mauritius, an African serving as commander of the Roman army stationed in the area, the patron saint of Coburg, and also of menstrual...

N/A Where is everyone selling their springers

Every post here is sensible advice, but I also think it good to be selective, and pay more but only buy the very best examples of whatever you can afford? Maybe is better to have a real nice Gamo than a rusty Wiscombe, if you cannot afford a really nice Wiscombe?...(yup, bit of exaggeration...

FWB How to uncock feinwerkbau 300s?

This is a very long shot, but if you pull the cocking lever back a bit more, (of course without bending it!!!) it may engage, you may hear a subtle ping noise?

N/A The Venom Arms Company Story

Interesting article, and hard to find information about these. Here's example of two of these British tuned airguns, a "Venom Hunter" HW97K below, an "Airmasters Mastersport" HW77 above...powerful, smooth, accurate.
