Air Venturi Avenger Rail Adjustment Question

I've added a barrel band, DonnyFL adapter, saber rails and still had to shim the rails downward to get the scope aligned. On my Avenger the barrel has visible droop from the side. Once zeroed shoots like a charm. Adjustable rings are the better option to avoid stress on the scope.

    Air Venturi Leak cured? But....

It does sound like a broken reg. Did you by chance try to adjust it down while under pressure?

What did you do airgun related today.

Took the barrel out to inspect leade and crown after reading some guides on possible improvements. Not sure where all the fuzz came from, but looks better than some things I've seen online.

Anyone try the cheap Chronographs from Ebay and Amazon?

I've got the Vikka one from Amazon. Make sure to change it to FPS during startup or you'll end up very confused. I spent half an hour trying to figure out why I was shooting under 300 FPS, before I realized the default is m/s.

    Gasoline or Electric Compressor

I'm using a RovAir 4500 that runs off 120v or 12v. It takes a couple of minutes to fill, but you just load up magazines while you wait. Being very portable is definitely a plus on these.

    N/A Pyramid Air Refurbs?

I've bought a refurbished Avenger in .22 from them last year. It was shooting great out the box and had no issues other than the barrel pointing really low requiring some shims under the back rail to get a scope sighted. At under $300 it's great value and you won't have to worry about scuff...

    Pellet traps

I've built my pellet trap based on this. Relatively quiet, dust is just from paper / cardboard and have about 4 tins of pellets in it without any cleaning. Shooting low power .22 PCP at 10 yards for six months and nothing made it to the back board. You can see my MILs first ever trigger pull in...

    Need gun safe recommendations

They're expensive but built well enough. The biggest benefit in my opinion is that the individual parts are light enough to be carried anywhere by yourself, and assembly is easy. Can go anywhere in the house, and easy to move with you.

@ThomasT Thank you for these, the Texas Crazy 32 convinced my wife that this isn't a boring sport.
