Might be a little over kill? I don't think it will recover.

My best pellet sizer is the choke in the barrel. That being said, pellet selection does make a difference. My choked barrels are less pellet picky. They are also a little slower than non choked versions. Baker Airguns sells some nice pellet gauges.

I have come to the same conclusion. A lung or heart shot is less dramatic sometimes, but a head shot is more consistent. What is "DRT"?

I got a 2028 and immediately put the Buck-Rail tactical kit on it. I need to go back and see if I can wring a little more accuracy out of that one. A little spring work and the trigger was great! That particular optic is junk.

I was very relieved to get those tight groups since previous efforts had failed. I tried the JTS pellets on my 362 and they were a no-go.:( I may re-crown the barrel on that one also.

I just checked my chronograph results with the JSB 14.35 grain pellets. Oddly, they make 2 ft/lbs more energy across the board than the JTS 16.08 and about 100 FPS more velocity. They are not accurate enough for me in the 3622 rifle, so JTS 16.08 it is for me..
