FX Any plans for different sized DRS Plenums?

What's the gauge thread size on the FX angled plenum bracket? Thx

FX Any plans for different sized DRS Plenums?

Not sure how the lighter pellets will shoot at 12-15 fpe, but I've shot the 500mm FX barrel liner on my Notos at ~20fpe with the 14.3gr CPUM pellets and it shot great at 20-30yrds. I'm headed the other direction - - more fpe. I've ordered a 22/600 superior heavy liner and some slugs. Also CAD'd...

FX Any plans for different sized DRS Plenums?

Thanks. I checked with Europe airguns and they have the DRS slug kit in stock. Was $66.07 total with shipping to KC. I plan to use the kit not so much for slugs atleast not right away, but for the pellet probe caliber interchangeability. I'm working on a 25cal barrel liner swap. Other part I'm...

FX Any plans for different sized DRS Plenums?

Where did you get the DRS slug power kit from? Utah Air doesn't have them yet. It's part number FX21056, correct? I've seen them listed in Europe, just not the states yet.

FX Any plans for different sized DRS Plenums?

Here's a 30cc version with side mounted gauge. Same 50mm ht as the one I did before. Need to see if one of my machinist buddies can cut me one.

FX Any plans for different sized DRS Plenums?

I think everyone with a classic DRS is thinking about a mama bear sized plenum! 😂 My thoughts are I'd want mine to have a 25mm digital gauge inset in the base and have about 20cc capacity. So... Easy enough to throw one into Solidworks and print it for a trial fit (non-pressurized duh!)...

PCP Rifle AV Classic Wood Avenge-X rifle and barrel kits

Here's a well cared for Classic wood stock Air Venturi Avenge-X. Take your pick on the caliber you want. I've got all three barrels. I bought the rifle last fall as a 25cal new from Pyramid Air. Currently it's set up with the 22cal. Both the 177cal and 22cal barrels are like-new since they were...

Umarex I sipped the Notos Kool-aid

Sounds pretty sweet! I want to get another Notos and get a longer barrel to try on it.

If you're referring to the camo coverings, those I sewed from some camo seat cover material.

I've been a busy elf. I modified a couple more Notos's for Xmas gifts. Turned our great. Again used the Huben Z-blocks and 220cc bottles. I gave both a bit of tweaking too. Cocking lever smoothing, Breech and barrel polish, trigger job, power boost mod and I printed moderator inserts as well as...

If you decide to increase the reg pressure, completely degas the rifle and then you can disassemble the reg and add a spacer shim. I used a SS washer I had on hand that was 16mm od x 7.4mm id x 1.45mm thick. I first sanded off the washer burr edges on a 400g sanding block. I used a snap ring...

Shaky2 Which Z-block you get? The Huben or the Qupb? I've used both. Some tradeoffs. The Hubens adjust to atleast 2500psi whereas the stock Qupbs top out around 1800. I added a shim washer in the Qupb zblock reg and can now adjust up to atleast 2400psi. Haven't tried any higher. The Qupb zblock...

    Air Venturi Avenge-X/PCP newbie concerns

Have you tried adjusting the transfer port adjustment knob to low? On my Avenge-X 25, this drops the fps a lot. I can get a sweet low power tune with some light weight pellets. Yes, the fill port cap "locks up" when you degas the rifle. I pull it off before degassing now and that works. I...

That bottle will fit on that zblock on the Notos. It's pretty heavy though. Like 9oz more than the CF 220cc one. 21.2 vs 12oz. Gotta make sure what the working pressure is on these aluminum tanks and fill them appropriately. Make sure to select the right zblock. Don't get the two choices on the...

Umarex I sipped the Notos Kool-aid

I added right at a pound to the rifle with the "Huben" zblock and 220cc CF bottle. Well worth it to get ~100 shots. Brought the cg down too that balances out your optics.

Nice! This with or without the additional plenum? I've got input port at 0.230" and the transfer ports at 0.156". Gonna try with 15cc plenum. Any ideas for spring or hammer mods?

Umarex I sipped the Notos Kool-aid

Well I poured another glass of Kool-aid and working to give the Notos a power boost. Saw Rohmpm's post on GTA and got me tinkering. I bored out the input port and transfer ports and gained about 3fpe on two of my Notos. Anyone else fiddling in this?

Umarex I sipped the Notos Kool-aid

Hey Mik, Adjusting the reg is pretty easy. The adjustment screw is shown here. You'll want to loosen the locking nut a bit then use allen key to make the adjustment. CCW to raise reg pressure or CW to lower reg pressure. OK to raise pressure with air in bottle, but should degas completely to...

Umarex I sipped the Notos Kool-aid

Here are the bottle dimensions. I used a ~12"x12" of 3/4" MDF as a flat block with 220gr and then 400gr sandpaper for sanding off a couple mils (thousands of an inch) to allow the drop block to align properly with the receiver.

Hey Shaky2, Yep, you are correct on both. No extra orings were needed.
