Thanks to everyone. I ended up purchasing a gx cs4 and bought a used leshiy 2 from a fellow AN member. This weekend should be fun (assuming the compressor comes on time) :)

I think all-in I don't want to go much above 3k, airgun and compressor included. I think I can find a used leshiy in the 2k ballpark, new is about 2.4k. Which is why I put compressor at 750.

I've found that I get quicker kills (and fewer need for a followup shot) with a heavier pellet. Primarily shooting squirrels.

How do you cook your meat? I've been debating putting some squirrel meat on my kamado smoker low and slow or perhaps braise it a bit - interested if you have any decent recipes.
