Hey, I’m curious about the focus adjustment, how is the yardage spread in the 35-55yd range compared to the S3? They’re touting a big difference but I’m wondering how significant it is? Thx

FYI, I spoke to Sightron customer support and they said the new scopes are trickling in and they have filled a few back orders. It sounded like mostly to distributors.

My Red Wolf has been excellent straight out of the box. Impressive accuracy with no tinkering required. And, no issues in almost two years. A little pricey but worth it.

Has anyone actually seen the new S6 FT scope (or maybe a prototype) at a show or an event? I saw a shot show video where they did a quick review of one and talked about getting a few out into the field for testing. Some firsthand info would be nice.

Like most things, I suppose it comes down to the economics. There may not be enough FT folks buying in the S6 price range to justify a totally FT dedicated scope. I wonder how many they would need to sell to justify the features noted above? Any how would the FT community show its commitment...

Sorry to here about the yardage issues. Sounds like a similar setup to my current S3 and I use 5yd intervals from 40-55yds at 16x. I've adopted some bracketing to help. Sightron says they've added a cam to the adjustable parallax so that it increases the throw (and spacing) from 40-60yds but...

I like to see some variety in the size/shape of targets and paint colors, a good mix of short and long targets, elevation changes, shooting across ravines or water is fun, some side swinging targets, NC course has targets in a 360 degree setup so the wind is different throughout the course...

Also looking forward to the new S6 FT. Bummer to hear about the additional delay but it's encouraging to hear that the glass is so good on the S6 version you are working with now. Curious to hear how that match went with the stock focus knob? For the price, I'd love to see them add an auto...
