Thats just a plenum cover. Krawford and Lypt makes some also, doesnt cover and wrap all the way around like this one though. Heres the Krawford and Lypt on my Impact.

Whats funny about this is I had a competitor ask me when I was spotting for them, "Please call out Red Wolf instead of Impact" when he made contact. We both had a good laugh!! :)

Just a correction. Daimen shot a converted .257 Condor with Dougs valve, hammer and spring. 34 inch TJ barrel. It was my gun :)

Correct, my point was that just adding the plenum will do nothing. The hole that goes to the reg gauge is tiny in the valve housing. Earnest helped my do my gun when he visited us here at the shop. Yeah the scope is tiny, my Hawke sidewinder started walking and I put the Athlon on while I sent...

The external plenum alone will not do anything for you. You need a hammer weight, and need to open up the valve housing for more air storage and air movement.

If you have not changed the liner, it comes with an "A" pellet liner. Here is the twist rates for FX liners.

It sounds like you may have hammer chatter. Take the barrel, hammer and spring out and clean out the tube. Use some divers silicone on the hammer and that may fix it.
