    FX impact m3 fine tuning

not new to tuning pcp but new to tuning with the valve adjuster. i'm shooting 30 cal hybrid slugs in 600mm barrel. wondering if there is consensus on fine tuning with hammer spring or valve? what i mean: - i'm looking for 950-960 fps per fx rec on the hybrids - start off with heavy hammer...

    N/A 30 cal Slug recommendation

thanks for all the replies. the hybrids do shoot pretty good. still fine tuning but usually around 1/2 inch at 50yrds. i'll give some of the others a try for accuracy but sounds like i shouldnt have to worry about clean kills with what i'm using. thanks again

    N/A 30 cal Slug recommendation

Im shooting groundhogs at <50yrds with fx impact m3 in .30. Looking for the right slug. I know shot placement is key, and do headshots. I take raccoons pretty easy with headshots using fx hybrids. Been thinking to keep using the hybrids or maybe try javelins. What are others using in similar...

FX wildcat mk2 .25 huma reg fpe

Sorry for slow response. Think it was alignment of the body on the air tube. Took apart and put back together and seems better now. Thanks for posting up. Appreciate it

FX wildcat mk2 .25 huma reg fpe

i had a leaky reg in my mk2 .25 so swapped in a huma with the xl plenum, i think i have everything lined up but my fpe looks low compared to what others have posted so wanted to check. - reg 135 (checked with gauge in brass bleed screw hole) - hs set to get max fps (every time i change reg...

is the Maverick louder than the wildcat?

thanks guys. @2L8 , when you say tuned the same you mean around the same fpe? so if i wanted to throw slugs at higher fpe, it would be louder - correct?

is the Maverick louder than the wildcat?

thanks. i was thinking that the extra power is coming from extra air which may translate to higher muzzle noise. not sure.

is the Maverick louder than the wildcat?

i have a wildcat mk2 .25 and am thinking about grabbing a maverick sniper .25 for some extra power but am worried about noise level as need to keep quiet where i shoot. how loud is the maverick vs the wildcat? i have donny fl on the wildcat and would do same on maverick. thanks in advance

    Wildcat mk2 tune

thanks, i was thinking of hitting it with a torch but dont want to melt any seals etc. i'll maybe try the heat gun and if it doesnt move i'll try to find someone who tunes them.

    Wildcat mk2 tune

yes, checked the basics, thanks for asking. i'm a little stressed about adjusting the hs because i read some horror stories about stripping it and then having to drill out etc. would hate to bust up a $1,500 gun. cant seem to get ahold of ernest though. i left him an email and pm'd him here...

    Wildcat mk2 tune

agree on the fps running a little high - and it did seem to be really tight group when the pressure was around 890-880. i wrote to ernest but have not heard back yet. i thought about hs adjustment but i didnt want to mess anything up. i'll take another look

    Wildcat mk2 tune

Thanks guys. Dirtbikerick, Good to know you also get about 48 shots. That is helpful. How consistent are your groups? Do you experience any poi shifts or opening up /flyers? I'd like to consistently shoot groups around 5/8ths at 45 yards if possible. It will hold 1/2 inch or less for a few...

    Wildcat mk2 tune

Shot a few tins though it. Probably around 800 rounds or so. String looks good fps wise, but getting some flyers and poi shifts. Funny thing is that it seems to shoot really well around 885 fps which is where I saw the string that was reviewed on aeac YouTube channel (for comparison, see my...

cricket or wildcat mkII in .25

awesome info, thanks everyone for the input. sounds like i can't go wrong with either one. since accuracy is equivalent, i'll lean toward the wildcat as the ergonomics are a bit better imho

cricket or wildcat mkII in .25

usually in the backyard so around 40-50 yards max. really just plinking targets and occasional pests (squirrels and maybe a coon here or there)

cricket or wildcat mkII in .25

was pretty set on the cricket then comes along the wildcat mkII. accuracy is my main objective and it seems like the cricket might just edge out the wildcat. however from the couple of reviews thus far, it seems the new wildcat may equal or better the cricket. i like the wildcat design better...
