New GX CS2 - Rust in air hose?

Just revived my compressor from Amazon. Unboxed it and put it on my workbench. Unscrewed the airline to place the moisture filter and noticed this (see photo) in the air hose connections. Wanted to get your thoughts as I'm new to this sport. Trvlngnrs

    Used Wildcat MkII Purchase?

Thanks for the advice! Unfortunately after multiple attempts to reach the seller, he ghosted me. I happened to be in Northern Utah yesterday and stopped in Utah Airguns. Travis was a great help and I walked out with a Maverick VP with with an upgraded 580cc CF bottle and Athlon Heos BTR...

Worth Waiting for a FX Sale?

After much time on the forum, and the help of some members, I'm leaning heavily to a Mk3 Wildcat, likely a Sniper VP or BT. Between now and Christmas, are they likely to go on sale thru FX or any of the online stores? Is it worth waiting a couple months to see what happens with prices or do...

    Used Wildcat MkII Purchase?

Sounds like the increase in performance is worth a few hundred dollars to purchase a Mk3 vs a Mk 2. Especially when you amortize it over the years of ownership! I really appreciate all the info you've given me from a real world perspective! Trvlngnrs

    Used Wildcat MkII Purchase?

That's impressive! You are getting me excited to purchase one. Do you notice a benefit of the Mk3 over your Mk 2? It has the 89cc plenum and dual regulators doesn't it?

The seller still isn't responding so that opens up my choices! Any thoughts on the Wildcat Sniper as a field gun... I actually leaning to the VP

Tuning Newbie, looking to get into pcp,

I think if you stay with any of the guns you see highly regarded on this forum you'll be in good shape. After that it's just a matter of budget and type of shooting you want to do (bench vs field).

Good to know... thanks. I tried calling the seller and left messages but haven't heard back from him. Possibly it's already sold.

    Impact Mk2 for a newbie?

Good advice! Thanks guys. I figure if I do get an Impact I'll search the forum for the setting with different pellets and go from there. Depending on the seller, it may already be tuned for a certain pellet which I can continue using. I typically adhere to the "buy once, cry once" philosophy.

    Used Wildcat MkII Purchase?

Thanks for your thoughts Don-B. Is there any known "weak points" I need to be aware of if I inspect it?

    Impact Mk2 for a newbie?

Hi everyone, as a newbie to the sport, but not to firearms, I wanted to get your thoughts on me purchasing a used Impact M2. I was reading a thread here about them selling for $1200 - $1400. My concern is that it'll be too "complicated" for a newbie. Should I get something "simpler"...

    Used Wildcat MkII Purchase?

Hi, first post here! I've already learned a lot. I've never owned an airgun, but I'm looking forward to it! I came across a Wildcat Mk2 for sale and wanted to get your thoughts if it is a good purchase. Here's the details: .25 caliber, Optisan scope 4x12x40 & silencer. Hard case and 1 can of...
