Thank you! I guess I assumed that higher power is always better but that doesn’t seem to be the case for 10m competitive shooting. It sounds like better regulated power is far more important than higher power?

I am just starting out shooting 10m and have found it really challenging to be consistent. I have been target shooting cartridge guns before and it was fun, but these tiny 10m targets are really a challenge. T

After talking with several guys in the air gun club I think that the lack of kick is another factor. We are in a 55+ community so many of the club member are getting up there. Air guns allow them to stay in the sport much longer than something like shooting sporting clays would.
