Thank you for the vid, really enjoyed it, clean presentation, and informative. Subscribed! Wish I had such vids to watch when I was just starting my journey in PCP world. Would make my life much easier :). Keep it up (y)!

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

Great first choice on the Sahara… BRK Brococks are solid performers…👍 My second PCP was a BRK Compatto, I have been lucky to own five different models, still own four of those BRKs. Each as badass as the next…🙏

FX I forgot how light the M3 actually is

Being used to the light weight of my springers and T-bolt .22 rimfire the weight of my first PCP was a bit of a surprise - the HW100 is "solid"! Since then (meaning multiple airguns later LOL!), I've found that PCPs are generally heavy - especially if you put a big scope on them. I don't mind...

    HW/Weihrauch I think I’ll order my first springer….

Well, technically not my first, but the first one I want to get serious about. I’ve been shooting pcp airguns for a bunch of years, and now I have the itch to try my hands on a good springer, I’m thinking an hw97, but I’m up for recommendations.

HW/Weihrauch Spring piston guns, shooting tehcniques

Here is a quick range report i did for my R9 about three years ago. All i did was pull a dry boresnake through the barrel, scope it, checked my stock screws, and take it to the range. The first 50 shots or so I ever fired through this gun are documented here. That also includes the first 5...

Umarex 3rd Zelos has Issues. Anyone else having issues??

The Notos was my was started my PCP journey. I’ll never forget the first time I shot it. First I thought holy crap why is this thing so quiet. Must be something wrong and it has no power. Then I shoot the side of my tin barn. Didn’t think it was so weak anymore haha. Once I put it on paper I was...

New Member Looking for first PCP

Like the title says, looking for my first PCP. My initial thought is to get a P-Rod, but seeing all the talk about the Notos has me rethinking. I tried to do a search, but the info is kind of overwhelming. I'm looking for .22 and out to 50 yards. Paper punching and pest control. I am a...

    EDgun Edgun Fenix (Phoenix) announced!

Bore offset is less of an issue with modern ballistic solvers, but that’s more of a PB thing. Most people using airguns aren’t lasering and dialing for every shot like we are with precision long-range rifles, so the offset’s still a big deal when moving between 10y and 100y shots on small game...

N/A PCP Tennis Ball Launcher Project

This is something I have wanted to build for a loooong time... I think the goal is within reach. Before I start making parts I want to run the idea by the group for input. Probably easiest to start with an existing PCP and slap a bigger barrel on it. That got me wondering which one would be a...

If you don't want your targets running into neighboring properties.

I have not killed a big raccoon or a coyote but I did kill a 8 lb raccoon I thought might be rabid. I used a 32 fpe 22 caliber PCP. Took 3 shots but there was no "running off" going on. The first shot into the chest stopped it. A shot between the eyes killed it and a final shot into the...

What springer did you shoot today?

I came from the same mold. My first job was working at a golf course. I have a Kabota zero turn. Can cut the lawn in 19 min. Despise cutting grass. Cuts into my shooting time. I think the 3rd gun I bought was a Benjamin Discovery with a pump. After I pumped it the first time, I cherished every...

    Air arms S410 vs tx200?

An apples to oranges situation. 🙂 I expect that you know that you are comparing a PCP (S410) to a springer (TX200) and presume that you are aware that the PCP requires a high pressure air source. Most of the sound from a springer comes from the mechanical movement of the internal parts. It...

    Your 1st PCP

Well, my initiation was my order last night. The issue wasn't the rifle cost it was the paraphernalia. The compressor and a tank seem required in my area. I went with the Avenge-X so it was less than the supporting cast.
