    Air Arms Old Reliable

Those older Air Arms were some of the simplest and most reliable airguns ever made. My first PCP was an S400 Carbine. And it was deadly accurate and never even hinted at leaking.

    Benjamin Silly newb question

I will echo what most people have said here. The Mrod is a great first or maybe even last, PCP air rifle. It was my first and it's a good quality rifle. I've bought a lot of PCP rifles since, most high end. They all shot pellets very well, but slugs? That's a big no! Only a couple of my...

EDgun Lelya 2.0 trigger install ?

Just cosmetics… I was surprised how easy the lelya is to work on .. yeah the price doesn’t matter to me.. I figure what’s an extra 100 some dollars on a pcp that’s over a grand anyways , shame they couldn’t get it right the first time…. Plastic triggers just don’t appeal to me

    N/A Low powered guns

This is my low po-favorite. Was my first PCP. Gateway to the Darkside. And I still love it.

Warning-pcp airguns are not a hobby, they are an addiction.

Yeah you're going to be spending a lot of money. When I first got into PCP, I put a limit on myself too. I bought a Hatsan Sortie and a couple AEA guns. Then I went a little higher and got a Benjamin bulldog which I still absolutely love. Now I have 2 Huben's, a western rattler, a Seneca double...

New Here - Need Gun Recommendations for Predator Control

Get a PCP rifle big enough to handle your largest animal. Don't try to hunt with a spring rifle unless you learn to shoot it first. They are tricky to learn to shoot and they have their limitations. You will have to make perfect shots on skunks wandering around. That's not going to work every...

    Airgun owners vs firearm owners

Bought my first PCP at 75+ years old simply because 22rf and components became impossible to find or afford. Then I discovered the PCP rabbit hole! Since I have a 300 yard range in my back yard I shoot the powder burners more.

    My first attempt

Hello amigos of AGN. In one month i have my first attempt in FT with my hw98 springer . I’m a springer shooter more than a pcp, but I’m new in this discipline, please let me your comments about how can I prepare my setup for the competition, I mean mark on side wheel, zero in my scope etc...

Huben The GK1 has ruined me...

I'm just glad I always avoided buying a small bore pcp pistol until the gk1 so I could buy once cry once although I traded a bunch of slugs for about 1/3 of its price. Same with the k1s. My first pcp true love

Time to do Maintenance on those PCP Compressors

I just did Maintenance on Both of my PCP compressors, First the Spritech and then the GX, very easy to do, I took the cover off, removed the copper tube compression fittings, removed the top valve cover, pulled the valve spring and seal out, removed the top head and cleaned all gunk off, removed...

FX Fx DRS vs Dreamline for 1st PCP

Hi I am looking to get my first PCP after many years of using Springerss. I am looking at these two models. Would probably buy in 22 caliber and use primarily for backyard shooting ranges and some hunting. I originally came across the DRS at a local shop and loved it, but it occurred to me...

    N/A Dual Use PCP

Am looking to buy my first PCP to shoot HFT and, if possible, try benchrest. I understand that dual purpose guns are a compromise at best, but would be interested in seeing what might be available. .177 predominates in HFT, is it suitable for benchrest or is .22 preferable?Or am I better off...

FX FX Airguns DRS Pro: How Significant is This Really?

Kinda amusing it is the latest greatest giant leap forward for pcp and mankind. Then goes on to tell how the design is based on the first pcp ever made.

N/A Looking to get into PCP

A Gamo Urban is a proven entry level PCP, with a BSA barrel. It was my first and it was impressive and what it did for me. I own fancier PCPs, but the Urban gives up nothing to them in practical field accuracy.

    I like these! Crosman Premier...

Never tried them, thanks for the recommendation. Will have to try these out. I have a .22 Huntsman Regal unregulated. Awesome rifle. My first PCP. Shoots the 16 grain JSB/AA/FX pellets like a laser. I used to go to Mammoth Springs all the time when I lived in Memphis. Great place to get...

What springer did you shoot today?

What’s a springer…? After my first PCP string, simply relegated to non use by me. Though the springers did serve admirably on small pests out to 55 yards, consistently. Simply don’t enjoy all the exaggerated “monkey motions” to take “one” shot… Let alone, a quick “follow up” to a marginal hit…
