    Umarex Mod potential of Notos?

There are lots of neat options to upgrade a Notos. In particular I think the plenum and aftermarket mags are worth buying. But take the advice of myself and many others, dont go too crazy spending lots of money upgrading a budget pcp. Its really easy to spend more on mods than it would cost to...

    What first caught your fancy?

When I was first looking for a PCP I was absolutely smitten with the deep bluing and gorgeous walnut stock of the AA S510. More research made it clear that the Weihrauch HW100 with a regulator and superior magazine system was a better choice and a pair of them (.177 & .22) were my first two...

Warning-pcp airguns are not a hobby, they are an addiction.

I anguished nearly a month trying to make a final selection for my first pcp air rifle. I set a $1000 limit on myself , that was what I could use to get the rifle itself , tax and must have accessories were not included in the 1k limit. I choose the AEA megalodon, I probably drove a particular...

    Minimum amount of energy required

That isn't the scope of this thread, ........that is to explore the real world capabilities of the .177 cal You are just going off in tangents, by your reasoning then you should just scrap airguns altogether and only use firearms because in the end they are "the better option available"

    Other Break barrel to PCP

Hello to all, new member here who started with Gamo break barrel and now own not one, two or three but four PCPs now. Nothing super expensive but all of them have a place for what I do. I acquired two in trade a few years ago, an AEA HP Carbine and a Seneca Eagle Claw...they are great guns again...

FX Fx drs classic walnut version!!!

Those would not be my first choice in pellet options. It seems to like the H and N's. Have you tried any of the various JSB pellet options?

Benjamin New to me Bulldog 357

@bivy53 I'll be watching this thread. A Bulldog .357 was my first PCP. It definitely helps to clean the barrel of a new Bulldog. It wouldn't hurt to clean the barrel of a used one either. Can you please post close-up photos of your cast ammo? Which pellets have you tried shooting so far?

Ataman New to the whole PCP world... Need advice.

Hi everyone, This is my first post, so I'll introduce myself. I live in Slovenia and I'm mildly old :) I always had a few break-action 4.5mm rifles and gas blowback pistols laying around, but more recently I decided to get into a bit more serious power and got myself a PCP (.22 AP16 from...

Other Another newbie question, perfect first gun?

@FreemanS - I suggest a .22 Daystate Revere for your first PCP. Great rifle for plinking and small game hunting. Easy to hand pump the unregulated version. Has the Harper Patent valve so very flat shooting curve. Comes in left hand configuration. Nothing to adjust or fiddle with. 25 fpe with...

    Buying first PCP

Hi! As an owner of a Weihrauch springer, I'm looking to buy my first PCP. I'm looking for a quiet (neighbor friendly), accurate and long range PCP. After searching I ended up with three options: 1. Air Arms S510 XS TDR or Air Arm S510T Tactical 2. Weihrauch HW100/110 ST. 3. FX Panthera or M3...

    Yesterdays yield of iguanas

I'm looking into getting my first PCP air rifle just to deal with the iguana infestation outside my home. Would a .22 caliber be sufficient or would I need a .25/.30?

    N/A Compressor question

When I got my first PCP over twenty years ago you had to get a tank (or hand pump). 4500psi carbon tanks really weren’t around yet. You went to a scuba shop and got the tank filled. If we had had all these smaller pumps that filled the rifle directly like we do now I would have never bought a...

    HW/Weihrauch My First PCP!

HW44! This thing is awesome in so many ways, super accurate out of the box, just cleaned the barrel and mounted a rifle scope. Learned a lot about leveling :-). Sighted it in and it performed better than my already high expectations. I'm a newbie so now I want one of everything! Already have a...

Warning-pcp airguns are not a hobby, they are an addiction.

I bought an FX first in .25. Then came many pellets. Then was a Daystate/Coltri compressor and a carbonfiber tank. Then the son wanted an FX so I bought his R5M and scope. Then came a prod and mrod. The Impact had a new iteration, so I had the old one altered to add a larger plenum and of course...
