You're going to use on a GK1...those QD mounts are typically pretty heavy. At last the good ones are heavy. I have an ADM which is nice but it weighs 8.2 oz. Just sayin'........
I don't know if this might interest you, but an investment in a copy carver like this might make your next project a success. https://wood-carver.com If you look hard enough on the internet, there was a company that had a set of plans so a person could fabricate his own copy jig.

Impressive groups, Ed! You are one of the few that gets good groups with the RDs. Are you using some of the new ones, or are you using the old versions?
