After adding a scope, it's quite heavy, and I do have the synthetic stock already, so I'm as light as it gets without going after martket. I'll have to at some point, break it down and see just how heavy the stock is compared to the rest of the unit, may not be much weight savings to be had. ...

New guy here, and owner of a .22 Marauder Sam. love the rifle, accurate enough for varmints out back, but it's a bit heavy. That being said, are there any after market stock kits that will fit and be maybe a little lighter? Thanks in advance, Greg.
