Maybe it reached the end of its life, if it wasn't under warranty then id look at investing in another. I always remove the batteries from mine at the end of the hunting season to try to protect it.

So do people use airgun for hog hunting? I have some pretty big hog traveling through the conservation area at the end of the yard and I often wonder is a quiet airgun would take these out! We bow hunt so that would be quiet enough to dispatch them but they do howl a lot when hit!

I hear you, the time I have to shoot is taken up with my shotguns and AR's. These are my hunting weapons, I really thought id get into the PCP but unfortunately I just used it for plinking in the yard and then packed it back up into its case, it was a very expensive toy with all of the items!
