After watching too many reviews and impressions videos to count.....seems like what I really want is an FX wildcat mkii in either .25 or .30 The trick is finding one at a decent price....and I'll just have to sweat with a hand pump for a while 😅

I really like the FX Wildcats. Problem is every one I see for sale used, they are asking near the price for one new. Being that I live in the middle of nowhere, I really need to save some budget for a portable compressor as I've nowhere near enough to me to get bottles filled, and dont relish...

I like the Air Force big bore models, and may someday look at one, but for my first I definitely want something with a higher shot count

I'm also not dead set on slugs, I just like the ballistic behavior of them. I definitely plan on trying some out, but I'll end up using whatever round the rifle I end up with likes the best

Does that Kozak have a choked barrel? I like the idea of slugs, but have read that slugs don't like choked barrels in general.

The rifle I line the most is the FX Impact X MKII, with the new power plenum, and the ability to change barrel lines based upon round type....but even used they are just too expensive
