    The Sub MOA barrel on the Red Wolf had a contour similar to the carbon fiber jacket on the factory barrel ( straight cylinder). They are also a faster twist to stabilize slugs. They have a slower twist rate barrels for pellets. So more rigidity from heavy contour and one piece.

    I tested several slugs H&N and Howlers on Wolverine HP R .22 but did not get good groups.
