I got the nomad 3 and it worked fine with the test plug. But when I used the male QD fitting it would not work. They sent me another QD fitting, it was black in color, not the silver colored one that came with the unit and it worked great.

Perfect, my medium height rings are at 1" so the 1/2" rail riser should put me right there.

How high are the rings you used, (from top of rail to center of ring)?

The adjustable comb is a hard molded plastic about an 1/8 of an inch thick. Not much I can do with that.

I don’t think adding a 1/2” of height will help. I may have to go with offset rings to the left to correct this issue.
