How often do weihrauchs get restocked?

Krale is in pretty tight with Weihrauch and receives orders very often, sometimes a couple times per week but the supply is still limited. I watch their HW97 supply and it changes a lot. They notified me that they had the HW97k STL in stock last week but by the time I farted around and waited...

Tuning an Air Arms TX200 to 12 ftpds

I bought a used TX this week and it had a Vortex kit in it. The first that I had seen in person. It has the external guide also but inside of that there is the standard inside guide. Works like a champ.

    Best pellets for TX200's?

My older Mk II in .177 loves Crosman Premier Lites from the box. My newer Mk III likes them also but my thumb does not due to the tight fit but fortunatly it does great with JSB 8.44 My latest Mk III in 22 cal realy likes the cheap (Walmart) Crosman Premier Hollow Points, 14.3 gr. All of my...

    12 fpe HW97 or Diana 52

I have both and recommend the HW97k. I have a regular 97k and love the wood stock. I also bought an STL. I love the nickel finish but not so thrilled with the polymer stock. I would really like a KT with wooden stock but don't wanna fork out the dough. Krale****** is the way to go.

    Holding on Tight

These boingers are a challenge. They all have their peculiarities in how they are held. They can even react differently to what clothes you are wearing. With that I am referring to the cushioning at the shoulder.

    HW 30 Accuracy Problem

Thanks for mentioning your using a plastic coat hanger. I will keep that in mind. I had no metal to metal contact after all my grinding so did not do the plastic insert mod. I agree, even though this is their least expensive rifle they could do better on their QC. They DO shoot so damn good.

    HW 30 Accuracy Problem

The primary problem is due to the location of the silver pin in the lever guide. Their quality control in positioning the U shaped guide when they welded it to the compression tube caused the pin to be too close to the tube thus not allowing the cocking lever to "clear" the compression tube.

    HW 30 Accuracy Problem

I had the exact same problem when my 30 was new. It came with the common gauling problem from the cocking lever. I discovered that both pieces of the cocking lever were binding against the bottom of the action and the barrel would not lockup properly. The pic below shows where i had to remove...

air rifle energy: joule vs fpe

I don't understand! As a US citizen you do not need a hunting license to buy or own firearms. Is this a requirement for those who are not? As far as the 20J rule, I think hawkeye is right.

    .22 pellets

EVERY barrel can be different and no 1 pellet fits any particular brand of gun. JSB, H&N, RWS Superdomes, etc etc etc are all great pellets and your gun may like. It also pays to pick up some Crosman 14.3gr Premier Hollow Points from Walmart for less than $6.00/500 and Crosman Ultra Magnums...

    Domed pellets

Domed pellets are all that I use with the exception of the Crosman 14.3gr hollow point which is domed also but has the indentation formed into the tip.

    Pellets not being consistant

I had not seen a Stoeger F40 before. I see it's new to the US. Its pop up breech is like the Weihrauch HW57. Being a springer, it should improve with age. This week I got a new European underlever in 22 caliber who/s name I will not mention. The following 5 shot groups were measured without...

    Pellets not being consistant

Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums (cheap at Tractor Supply) and Crosman Premier Hollow Points (very cheap at Walmart) are worth a try.. Don't expect much from pointed and flat headed pellets. Past 10 meters they go wild. JSB as mentioned above are well worth trying. I have two 22 cal guns that...

What are considered to be the best springers for under $800?

Being a LEFTY myself the TX200 right hand stock sucks with that sharp edge against my face. I modified mine and also have a left hand TX200 Mk III but I don't enjoy loading the breech on the left side. They are fine fine guns but my HW97k (from Krale) is fantastic and having the ambidextrous...

Crosman 7.9 Premiers In The Box?

2 years ago I got several boxes from die "B" and had no issues. A couple months ago I got 5 more boxes from the same die and found no problems with them yet. The most recent were ordered from bigsupplyshop.com for $18.70/box. This was a mistake because Pyramyd would have been $20.22 per box (4...

    Crosman Premier Hollow Points 14.3

I have a Walther LGU that loves the 14.3 CHP but not so much for the Ultra Magnums. Every gun is different. My Walmart stocks the CHP's but instead of walking in, I order online and use EBATES to get an extra 7% rebate then just pick them up in the store. when I do not order enough for free...
