What springer did you shoot today?

Barra 1200g. Brand new, my first spring, gas piston rifle. I love it. Cleaned both the .177 and.22 barrels before shooting. After shooting the Diana Chaser rifle and pistol for a year, it was a big jump for me. Was surprised how heavey the Barra was and was not ready for the kick. I shot 60 RWS...

    cold co2 rifle barrel

I did a crony today, got 471 fps. removed the heavier spring and spacer, installed a stock spring stretched to 3-1/2" (recommended by a couple of you tube videos ) did another crony , to my surprise 525 fps. That's higher than factory spec on the 177 cal. Bill

    cold co2 rifle barrel

.22 cal. 14.0gr wadcutter. My gun seems to like wadcutter pellets, more accurate, any brand, I use RWS and H&N brand mostly. I get fair results with domed pellets. Weight between 14.0 and 14.6gr. With the heavier hammer spring, I was going by what several people claim on youtube to increase fps...

    hamer spring discovery

I discovered something today. On my Diana Chaser, rifle kit, 22 cal., stock hammer spring, I was getting lower 400 fps. put in a heavier spring and a 1/4" spacer. Crony reading 471 fps. In a different part of this forum someone told me that increasing the hammer spring pressure makes the gun...

    cold co2 rifle barrel

Thank you very much. I have not seen anything like I'm describing on you tube or anywhere else. I have seen videos about how the cold effects a co2 cartridge. I guess the ticket would be something to keep the barrel warm or shoot much slower. Tanks again. Bill

    cold co2 rifle barrel

I have a cheap chrony and am getting about 485 fps for the first 2 or 3 shots then it goes down from there. I'm using a stronger hammer spring with a 1/4" spacer. Not sure what the velocity is. I'm getting about 25 good shots per co2 cartridge before it starts loosing power. Bill

    cold co2 rifle barrel

I observed something today and my brain put 2 n 2 together. First of all I shoot in my basement. I always notice that my Diana Chaser rifle barrel is cold after going through a couple of co2 cartridges. But today I noticed what clicked in my head. I set up 4 targets and had 4 mags with 7 pellets...

    diana chaser air valve

nervoustrig, thank you. My thinking was that the plastic did the sealing but wasn't sure. Now it makes me wonder why the brass piece is cone shaped.

    88gr co2

On the Diana chaser, has any one converted to the 88gr cartridge? If so, what adapter did you use ? thanks bill

    diana chaser air valve

On the diana chaser valve, what does the sealing, the brass on the pin or the plastic that the pin goes into ? I have my chaser rifle for about 2 months now and after shooting several thousand pellets, it started leaking into the barrel, it is not leaking at the pearcing seal. The only reason I...

    broken suppressor

I just got a reply from Chris at Buck Rail. Great news, they are sending me a new one. Highest praises to Buck Rail, didn't even ask me to send the broken one back. Not too many businesses like that anymore. Bill

    broken suppressor

Anyone else besides me have a buck rail suppressor break ? Mine did this morning on my Diana Chaser rifle. I shot about 50 pellets without a problem. I put in a fresh c02 cartridge and first shot, suppressor went flying. Broke of 1-1/2" above the threaded end. It is a fairly clean break. I know...

    I have A theory

Bigragu, what your saying makes sense. I did not consider the cocking lug in my theory. I was thinking just grind the bolt handle slot 1/8" to the rear. Now as you mentioned the cocking lug, the internal lug slot would also have to be ground rearward. I bought a right hand breach for my Diana...

Thanks for your replies. Appreciate it. It was just a theory.

    I have A theory

This is for all the bolt action pistole and rifle owners. I've been thinking about this since I got my Diana Chaser pistole about 2 months ago. Here is my theory on how to increase power. Put the bolt tip into a pellet, you can see how much room the bolt pin takes up. Now if you can use the bolt...

    3 or 4 power scope

Thanks for the info, much appreciated. I do have a reflex dot sight I bought for it. not sure how reflex sights work on a rifle, will see. I have been shooting a Diana Chaser pistol for about a month or so. I got a reflex dot sight for that and love it and the pistole. I liked the pistol so...

    3 or 4 power scope

Hi everyone. I will be receiving the Diana Chaser rifle kit in a couple days. I'm thinking of getting a scope for it. I mainly shoot in my basement, I have a 10 yard range setup. My question is: will a 4 power scope focus at 10 yards? If it will, will all 4 power scopes focus at 10 yards? thank...
