Made a kind of bearing for the piston rod, glued it with epoxy, polished the barrel, cut an O-Ring grove inside the piston, and a slightly bigger on the outside.
I have had the Hatsan Velox for quite some time now and probably shot over 2,000 rounds thru it. It just recently quit cycling properly because the rod that opens the bolt probe had broken a while ago and finally wore enough that it would bind. That being said, it is a lot of fun. I emailed a...
Hi folks- Anyone had any idea how I might de-pressurize a Hatsan Velox to return it to the dealer? I'm pretty sure I won't be the only one doing this in the near future. This pistol, IMHO, is a special kind of bad. TIA for any advice. Rgds, Mark
...a few small rooms. I thing I'd have alot of success with a .25 semi auto. Even if I don't I want a new gun. I been thinking about getting a velox, some of the reviews haven't been great but sounds like they might of fixed some issues. I'm relatively new to the hobby, i was really suprised...
...all over the place, bad shoot count and a lot of problems with the r version so F it... I just don't want to trow money on bad stuff. Is the Velox bad stuff?... reading your post it don't look like it, but knowing how fanboyish this community is and how blind you are with the Gk1 and his...
I had a velox briefly. I returned it when I only got 10 shots out of the first can of air I was able to fill successfully. I think it would be better if you just tethered it to a SCBA tank. How many shots are you getting out of each can and what caliber are you shooting?
With a mod they are every bit as quiet as the stock notos except the action is louder because of the semi-auto function. I got my Velox from the second batch at pyramid air and had no issues with cycling. Good luck.
I've got a question on the maurader semi auto? how does it work, like does it use the gas from the shot to push a piston back like a hatsan blitz or velox? is it pellet picky? if anyone has a link to somewhere I can read about it and or a schematic I'd appreciate it. thank you Mark
...and in my opinion the best bang for the buck. If you're set on pistol, I haven't tried the Notos in pistol form, and I own 2. I also have a Velox, I'm not very impressed and they're loud. It's my only Hatsan gun. Even with a moderator on the Velox, the Notos is far quieter. I fell in love...
That is very common. That's because Hatsan makes low quality guns. A lot of people had problems with the Velox. You have to send it back to hatsan and they will fix it for very cheap. There is an oring inside it that is probably split. That is why it will not build up enough pressure to cycle.
