Okay I see what you're saying. The torx bits that I used didn't deform the exterior of the slug, and didn't change the ogive. So they SHOULD carry the same BC and accuracy. They are also not removing any material so they're even the same weight.

Someone had posted a mold that might allow a torx head bit to be inserted into the meplat for a very consistent result

Those look great and seem to expand nicely, I'm hoping to make some that have even more expansion. I hope Longshot chimes in about the dies he purchased from Corbin for swaging some that basically explode upon contact.
