    N/A Air rifle custom stocks

Perhaps my post was unclear. I understand exactly who pays the tariff. The reason I delayed the stock purchase is that it is unclear to me HOW the tariff will be collected. Does the shipper collect before delivery? Exactly how much and when? Does the stock sit somewhere while customs awaits...

    N/A Air rifle custom stocks

They had exactly what I was looking for and was willing to suck up whatever the tariff was going to be since not having to pay the VAT would have negated most of any tariff to be paid. I’m not sure what has to happen or who to contact, so I guess I’ll wait a bit for things to get sorted out.

    N/A Air rifle custom stocks

I was going to order a stock from them last month and reached out to them by email about that (tariffs). They replied that collection happens on our end when the stock arrives in the US. They had no other information than that. As I have heard a few stories from friends who have ordered...

    HW/Weihrauch HW 50s: .177 vs .22

Thanks for the reply. I’ve also looked at the factory parts diagrams and dont see any difference other than the barrel; none of the diagrams show different part numbers for any of the other components.

    HW/Weihrauch HW 50s: .177 vs .22

Thanks. I wasnt sure because there is no difference, for example, between OEM air arms springs for .177 and .22 TX 200/Prosports. And I didn’t see in the Pyramyd blog article you reference (which I’ve seen before) where BB discussed a difference in springs not between calibers, just in higher...

    HW/Weihrauch HW 50s: .177 vs .22

I'm not looking for a .177 vs .22 performance comparison. I’m interest in difference between the actual components.

    HW/Weihrauch HW 50s: .177 vs .22

Is there any difference between the two, other than the bore diameter? Same piston and spring?

Beeman How often do you pay an inflated price for a rifle or don't make such purchases at all, only buy good deals?

I have never regretted buying something I really wanted, even if I had to pay a premium price for it. I have often regretted passing on something I really wanted just to save a few bucks.

    HW/Weihrauch HW 50 s Finally Broken In

Thanks for the comments. Regarding the lube tune I did when the gun was brand new, I really don’t think that it did much of anything. First, I applied the lube pretty sparingly. Second, that was 8 months and probably 1000 shots ago. Im much more confident that shooting it was the ticket...

    HW/Weihrauch HW 50 s Finally Broken In

I own two HW 30s and a ProSport. None required any tuning or break in. All had smooth shot cycles and superb accuracy out of the box. Always wanted an HW 50 and picked one up about 8 months ago. Was disappointed in how rough the shot cycle was. Buzzy with some spring twang. Had to routinely...

Air Arms Smooth Shooting Springer ? Do They Exist ?

After being away from airguns for over a decade, I bought a new .177 AA ProSport this past summer and replaced the FAC spring with an OEM 12 FP spring. Did nothing more than that. Thumbnail-sized five shot groups at 50 yards on calm days from a rest are routine. Recoil and spring vibration are...

Air Arms Reduced Power AA Prosport

Pyramyd Air. It’s an Air Arms OEM spring.

Air Arms Reduced Power AA Prosport

I’ve shot a couple of truly amazing five shot groups with it. Some have been right at .5 inch at 50 yards. But those are rare. I think the ten shot groups give me a better idea of what its true accuracy (and mine) is.

Air Arms Reduced Power AA Prosport

Got back into Airguns this past year having retired and needing another hobby. Picked up a .177 FAC Prosport, mounted a 4-16 UTG scope, and proceeded to test out a few pellets that I knew it would like. I decided to zero it for 50 yards and had the best results with JSB 8.4s. I knew I got a...

HW/Weihrauch Spring piston guns, shooting tehcniques

I used to shoot match grade sub-MOA center fire and rim fire rifles as a hobby. As that became more difficult due to lack of accessible ranges in my area, I migrated to airguns that I can shoot in my basement or back yard up to 50 yards. Started with an R7 about 20 years ago, picked up a...
