I have had great groups under MOA at 100 yards shooting the 37grain slugs from ZAN about 950 to 970.

Thanks Rallyshark, I am impressed you were able to get the maverick to those specs, how do you like the Maverick over impact? What distance do you usually take for a deer with the .30cal. Or what ftlbs will you not go under? All though more often then not its more about the shot placement...

I tried the 54.5 at several different speeds but don't seem to be as accurate. I like the accuracy of the 65.5 grain but I guess I will have to live with the increased elevation. Thanks

Hande Yes, if you shoot the next five shots to a new target in a row, without a break. The question then becomes if you take your best 5 shot group is it still valid because you took 5 shots and you moved to the next target without "break". If so then what you said earlier about only...

Hande- I think that is a fare assessment, however, you are not usually shooting at 1 target and calling it quits, you move to the next target and do another shot group. If you are getting consistency, I think you can get the same result based off of performance and not just sheer luck.

Yes I agree I should be happy with what I have. The only thing I really would like to improve is having a flatter shot. Like to have 200 yards on a full rotation of the turret. Lol "matrix" style 5 shot group. I need to look into that. I will start doing 10 shot groups for the unbelievers...

Anyone able to get higher FPS out of there mk2 impact. I am shooting 65.5g NSA at 950fps at 175 bar on the reg. Curious if anyone has pushed there reg higher than 175? I have reached around 135ftlbs but wanted to get to 150+.
