It could be the store or a specific promotion from the manufacturer. I also saw some RICO bundles (640 units) for Black Friday that have the LRF included, but several do not. In my opinion, for airgunners it really doesn’t make sense not to have a laser range finder on an optic.

I bought a DAR Gen3 from PA on their black Friday sale. It was clipping the thread protector so bad that the pellets were keyholing at 20yds. I got online and did the return on it, downloaded the UPS shipping label they gave me, printed it out, and stuck it on the box. Didn't cost me a penny...

For what it's worth, usually I have the LRF off my RICO. My targets are basically always between 20 and 30 yards, and at those distances my eyes are about as good a rangefinder as the RICO, considering there's basically zero pellet drop at those ranges.

...these are decent "budget" options and can be found localy for around 500eur which is ridiculous compared to US prices. If you guys know of a better scope alternative in this price range + - 100eur, suggestions are more than welcome. Not in a hurry since Black Friday deals might come up. :)
