Barrel bands for the 2240 .... Not much secures that steel breech , just one bolt at the rear and a tiny screw near the middle. I added a rubber o-ring for the transfer port and that meant having to press the breech and gas tube together when tightening up the small screw ... always worrying...

Crosman 1322 and 1377 are both well under $100 and can pump up to deliver respectable power

I finally got the bug to dress up the 1322 a bit. Ok, maybe more than a bit :). Steel breech, 12" barrel, trigger upgrade, green dots, and I just *had* to have that walnut grip set. I hardly ever give it more than 3-4 pumps, and that seems enough to deliver impressive accuracy.
