    FX Maverick with iron sight

Guys, Last night installed an iron sight (cheap though) on my Maverick for a trial run. 10yard targeting and it was a disaster. I think I should mount the front sight at barrel’s front, though wanted not to to avoid barrel harmonics changing. Maverick seems better for red dot and scope only!

FX Maverick failure to re-fill after degassing

Update on this phenomena: No matter what, don't let any water vapor to go. Get a real water separator (not that small foam beads) with your compressor and make sure, air source is also having less humidity. Because de-gassing was NEVER the cause of filler-inlet valve failure rather the water...

FX Maverick failure to re-fill after degassing

Guys, Though to share it here... I'm using a FX Maverick .22. Today I decided to empty the air-bottle fully and then refill. What I did was loosen the bottle halfway untill i hear the hiss. The hissing continued till the 1st pressure reads 0. I was happy and also made some dry fire to empty the...

    Zeroing and then offsetting confusion

well, seems a phd for me... BTW, yep, i still need a lot of practice and actually i was just trying to understand the scope and how it works in terms of ballistics, adjustments, etc... :p

    Zeroing and then offsetting confusion

Ok, so this means 1/4" at 100Y per click. So for any other distance, say 10Y means 10/100 = 0.1 and then I need to multiply that with 1/4" ref, means 0.25" so 0.1 x 0.25 = 0.025" This means inch per click will be if N then N = (D/100) * 0.25 inch where D is distance the target is at.

    Zeroing and then offsetting confusion

1/4" = 0.25" was my calculation... damn me!!! it was supposed to be 0.025" If I keep zero at 25Y and then take a shot at 10Y and measure and count how many clicks it needs to be zero at 10Y, my confusions should be clear right? and then similarly some other calculations... BTW, is there any...

    Zeroing and then offsetting confusion

Well, the MOA calculation is confusing me... as said, 1MOA is 1"@100Y, 2"@200Y, etc... and my scope is 4click = 1MOA. Now, as said before, if my scope is zeroed at 25Y, then one of the statistical result told me that at 10Y it's 1.75" below (POI is below POA). So here I already know the offset...

    Zeroing and then offsetting confusion

Guys, New to airgunning. Tried the level best to make the zero at 25Y. This means my scope turret crosshair is on POI=POA. Now, I'm totally confused on the MOA and other calculations. But here is my summery on MOA: 1 MOA = 1" per 100Y. 1) Does this mean if I zero at 100Y, then next 125Y...

Equivalent size of a IPSC target

kindof... practically i'm at 10Y but equivalant of 100Y. This means since I dont have 100Y space, rather 10Y, I wish to practice myself for 100Y but due to space, i need to be at 10Y

Equivalent size of a IPSC target

Guyz, new to airgunning and new to the forum. First of all, glad to be a part of here. Hope I can learn things better with community help. I'm now at a limited space to practice. Hence I wish to imitate a standard target @ 100Y at 10Y kind of thing. This means say if @ 100Y a IPSC (or similar...
