I jave been shooting slugs for about 4 years now, it's my go to for pesting iguanas. I can get it done with pellets, but too many areas get opened up and I'm susceptible to wind. Also iguana will range from 4 inches to 6 feet. Most iguanas shot with pellets will have thay pellet traveling well...

If you have the 1:16 twist line the hybrids will work great, 1:18 and 1:24 you'll need to run them at least 960fps and hope they shoot well.

Get rid of 1 streamline and the Gauntlet, get a vulcan 3 .22 or .25

C88 makes these adapters so you can mount a can. Just make sure to check the "shroud" to see whether you have the untreated or the threaded version.

Yeah the hades/atomics have considerable less than the domed do but they fly just as good in my PHC 30 and Impact m4 .30 at 840fps

In .30 I don't shoot the domed but the fx atomics are amazing, I've had great accuracy out to 105yds

At those speeds the 20.83gr move around 990fps, and they do this when they hit. The top one, the middle is 25gr HN HP2

Retuned* my U2 177 with 18gr take aim slugs to shoot 1002-1014fps. Last night I took the notos apart and added the 8.8g hammer. Currently getting too much hammer bounce, it quiet literally went from single shot to full auto. Gotta either find a heavy hammer spring or stiffer valve spring.
