Like Mike said above....I have a couple Siriui tripods and monopods, they are similar in quality to Leofoto which is excellent. And, like rsfrid said above, the ball head will be the determining factor in stability 👍 and Leofoto makes excellent ball heads.

So cool Wildcj! I had one quite a few years ago that I purchased from AoA used, it was accurate and quiet but leaked from the get go so I returned it. It was like you said boringly accurate amd quiet! If I remember correctly these models had a fill gauge while the non FT's didn't....enjoy...

I'm truly understand your dilemma/frustration as I have gotten "older" my fingers are less dexterous and dryer, making it tougher to grab smallish things....

I have shot a few rats @ 10-20yds that for some weird reason had zero blood from either an entrance hole or exit....I can usually see where the POI is because the fur is kinda twisted there but no sign of blood anywhere! It's like the wound hemetically sealed itself! Quite the head scratcher! 😂

I think I will never sell my built by Martin RAW HM1000x LRT with the smaller breech, it puts a smile on my face daily with how consistent it shoots...I am the only limiting factor that keeps it from performing as it should....
